Compressor oil and lubricants
To ensure the best performance and efficient running of your compressor applications, you need to select a lubricant with care. We supply compressor oil and lubricants that will not have adverse effects on the wear and life of your compressor.

Our range of high quality compressor oils and lubricants include:
Airline Oils
Airforce Arctic PG32
For use in all pneumatic tools where icing may be a problem. Minimises wear and corrosion under the most severe conditions. Supplied in 5Ltr cannisters.
Airforce EP22
Premium quality, light viscosity airline oil with good corrosion resistance, anti-wear and high temperature performance. Supplied in 5Ltr canisters.
Reciprocating Lubricants
Airforce SAE20 Lubricant
Airforce SAE30 Lubricant
Airforce SAE40 Lubricant
Reciprocating piston compressors require lubricants that prevent the formation of lacquers on internal parts, keeping surfaces clean and the rings free to seal, thereby maintaining compressor efficiency.
The viscosity, stay in grade and anti-wear characterstics of the lubricant are paramount in reciprocal applications. All Air Force compressor fluids are suitable for use in this type of compressor where the viscosity is applicable.
Fully synthetic lubricants are more thermally stable than mineral based fluids and are therefore more appropriate for high temperature applications.
Rotary Screw Lubricants
Airforce 4000 (ISOVG46)
Airforce 4000 (ISOVG68)
The rotary screw compressor depends on the fluid for sealing and lubricating shaft bearings while removing the heat generated during the compression cycle.
Air Force fluids:
Provide outstanding sealing properties for high efficiency operation without impairing the free rotation of the screws.
Resist bearing wear, helping maximise the life of the compressor. (Lack of proper lubrication of the screw bearings is probably the most common causes of seriuos or even terminal breakdown in screw type compressors).
Dissipate heat from the compression process and extend separator life.
Resist foaming, even under the highest shear stress situations.
Rotary Vane Lubricants
Fluids for rotary vane compressors need to overcome the friction and wear potential of the sliding vane while providing essential lubrication of the rotor bearings. Viscosity, lubricity and film strength are all crucial in the development of a lubricant for rotary vane compressors.
Air Force fluids:
Minimise wear of plain bearing surfaces and rotor end faces by reducing sliding friction, which enables vanes to slide in and out of the rotor easily. Air Force fluids can virtully eliminate wear of the vanes and help ensure a long and productive compressor life.
Maintain the integrity of the compression chamber at each stage of compression i.e blades with stator, blades with rotor and rotor end faces with casting.
Maintain viscosity and hydraulic responce for optimum control.
Resist foaming, even under the highest shear stress conditions.
Resist moisture absorption to reduce the risk of emulsification.
This fluid is intended for up to 2000 hour operation in vane compressors with operating temperatures not exceeding 95oC.
Vacuum Pump Lubricants
Airforce VPO HV (High Vacuum)
Air Force vacuum pump fluids are petroleum based lubricants selected for their low vapour pressure. They provide superior thermal and oxidative stability and resist the formation of varnish and carbon deposits. These products should not be used in oxygen enriched applications.
All our compressor oils and lubricants are chosen for thier quality and with aim of giving you complete peace of mind.
